1. In the month of January, at Maldives, Low vision and blind rehabilitation assistance was offered to Maldives Blindness Society. The rehabilitation and its approach was
shared and requested to committee for government involvement and exchange the plan and implementation at National level for the benefit of the Maldives citizens.
2. Invited as Guest speaker on Optical Dispensing Training programme from 1st -3rd February 2014 at Optics India -2014 Mumbai organized
by SLK Optometry foundation-New Delhi
3. Played key role in Optics India Fair on behalf of Indian Optometric Association at Mumbai from 1-3 February 2014.
4. Participated in story telling workshop to visually impaired girls at Kamala Mehta blind school in association with yellow concept at Mumbai
5. World optometry Day was celebrated on 23rd March 2014 at ITM University-Panvel and was invited as key speaker for IOA and delivered a presentation on Milestone of
IOA and its activity. Also contributed as judge for optometry quiz and distributed the award and certificates to the winners from more than 13 colleges participated the
event from Maharashtra and Gujarat.
6. At Indonesia in the month of April, visited the Netra mitra association for the visually impaired and interacted with students, staffs and visually impaired. Exchange the
system of rehabilitation at both the Asian countries and assistance was offered for the benefit of the visually impaired at Indonesia organization to any visually impaired
irrespective of cast creed and religion and gender.
7. For the people of Leh- Ladakh the service was offered to ecological department on subject of save environment and strategy plan was made to sensitize the Indian
visitor during their leh trip about use of plastics and other pollution control measures. Also visited the Civil Hospital the Ophthalmology department, women alliance
organization and Government ecological department.
8. Presented the 2 abstracts at First African council of Optometry Conference in Collaboration with World Council of Optometry and University of Lurio at Mozambique
during 18 to 21 June 2014.
